Showcase 21

Horse tack

The luxurious elements of equestrian equipment on display here complement the objects displayed together with the hussar procession in the first part of the exhibition. It highlights the role of the horse in the civil and military culture of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, as well as providing an opportunity to admire the mastery of ancient craftsmen.
